She graduated from Union Institute & University with a BA in Early Childhood Studies in 2007 and is passionate about teaching. Her family is extremely supportive and both her children have attended Clifton Christian Academy. One of her many strengths is the ability to translate lesson plans into fun and memorable learning experiences. Identifying student needs and collaborating with support staff is also a priority for her. She believes in quickly and accurately addressing students’ needs whether it relates to an advanced child, or a student needing enrichment. She attributes her success to Clifton Christian Academy’s shared belief that smaller class sizes and individualization is key to teaching 21st century learners.
Since I graduated from college I have been teaching . During these years I gained many different educational and spiritual teaching experiences. My first experience in teaching was when I was 14 years old, I taught my little cousin how to read using newspapers and some old books my grandparents had. Since that day I knew that I love to teach. At school I always tried to be close to little kids asking teachers if they needed some help. That was when I started to teach in a formal way because teachers ask me if I wanted to help little kids with their classes. This is how my teaching life began. Being in a classroom with students is an enjoyable time for me.
